今回は歯を削る器具(タービン・エンジン)の洗浄機を紹介します。
歯を削る器具もお口の中に入りますので、もちろん！滅菌されていなければなりません。
滅菌状態にするためには高温になります。器具の中に唾液・血液などのたんぱく質が残っていると固まってしまいます。その中には微生物も含まれていますので、残っていれば一緒に固まってしまいます。そのため、このクアトロケアーという機械で滅菌器にかける前に中を洗浄し汚れ(唾液・血液・削りカス)のない状態にします。その後、高温の滅菌器に入ります。(低温で行う方法もありますが、当医院は高温のものを使用しています。)
歯を削るときには、風と水が勢いよくかかります。きれいな物を使ってほしいですよね？
